Warranty

Type Coverage Duration
Labor Our workmanship on the repair performed 1 year
Parts Defects in parts we install Manufacturer warranty or 90 days

Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage after repair
  • Liquid damage after repair
  • Issues unrelated to the original repair
  • Devices repaired elsewhere after our service
  • Software issues (unless part of original repair)
  • Parts supplied by the customer (see below)

Customer-Supplied Parts

If a required part is not available from our North American suppliers, we will provide you with a link to source it yourself. In this case:

  • You take your device home and order the part independently
  • When the part arrives, bring both the device and the part back to us
  • We will complete the repair at our standard labor rate
  • No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts — we warranty our labor only
  • This will be noted on your invoice

Data & Privacy

  • Your data is your responsibility: Back up your data before submitting your device
  • digiBandit is not responsible for data loss during repair
  • We do not access personal files unless required for testing
  • Devices may be wiped if necessary for repair (with your approval)

Abandoned Devices

Devices not picked up within 30 days of completion notification may be:

  • Considered abandoned property
  • Recycled or disposed of
  • Used to offset repair costs

We will attempt to contact you at least 3 times before considering a device abandoned.

Liability

  • Maximum liability is limited to the repair cost charged
  • digiBandit is not liable for pre-existing conditions, undisclosed damage, or issues unrelated to our repair
  • We are not responsible for data loss—always maintain backups

Device Condition

By submitting your device, you confirm:

  • You own the device or have authorization to request repairs
  • You have disclosed all known issues and damage
  • The device is not stolen or subject to legal dispute

Agreement

By submitting a device for repair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Standard Repair Agreement.
