## What is blueBox?
|
|
|
|
It's where your business digitally lives. One box, in your office, with everything your team needs to work - file sharing, backups, remote access, user accounts, security. All of it.

We build the box, install it on-site, and manage it going forward. Your data stays in your building. Need more capacity? Bigger box. Need disaster recovery? We back up the box. Need more services? We add them.

Every blueBox is sized to your business. We quote after a free consultation.

**The Box** - One-time. Server hardware, installation, and network setup. You own it.
|
|
|

**Management** - Monthly. Priced by devices, users, and sites. Details on our [Managed IT](/managed/) page.

|
**Growing?** - More users, more storage, second location - we upgrade the box or add another one. No starting over.
|

## Common Questions
|
|
|
|
**What size business is this for?**
|
|
5 to 50 employees. Works for most industries - transportation, construction, trades, professional services, retail. We don't do healthcare or legal where there's heavy compliance requirements.
|
|
|
|
**What if my business grows?**
|
|
Bigger business, bigger box. We upgrade the hardware, add storage, or deploy a second box at another location. You don't start over.
|
|
|
|
**What about QuickBooks / Office 365 / etc?**
|
|
We don't rip out what's working. Your existing software stays. We fill in the gaps around it.
|
|
|
|
**Do I need new computers?**
|
|
Probably not. We look at what you have and only suggest replacing machines that genuinely can't keep up.
|
|
|
|
**Contract?**
|
|
The box is paid upfront. Ongoing management is a 12-month term, billed monthly, price locked. 90 days notice to cancel, no penalties. The hardware is yours either way.
|
|
|
|
**What happens if we part ways?**
|
|
You keep the box. It's yours. We hand over all documentation, passwords, and configs clean. No hostage games.
|
|
|
|
**On-site visits?**
|
|
$90 per visit plus mileage over 50km. Most stuff gets handled remotely.
|
|
|
|
